The Digital Living Research Commons’ vision is to be an intellectual and physical space for research, experimentation, and education centering on the complications of society in the 21st century of digital saturation and global networks. It is founded on the principles of co-creation, collaboration, and vibrant research across a growing international network of scholars, students, organisations, cities, and companies.
The mission is to bring researchers together in open and accessible collaboration to further the research and practice around the complex processes that shape our future and operate at the intersections of culture, human interactions, art, social media, infrastructure and technology systems. The DLRC recognizes the importance of involving researchers from all levels and encourages participation from students, activists, and others who might always be centralized in research environments. The Commons will share and co-create insights with peer scholars, institutions, communities, policy makers, companies and society at large.
